About

This blog began at a moment of desperation. I was at rock bottom and couldn’t even begin to imagine how I would get out of the hole I was in. I had a debt that I couldn’t pay on, student loans that I hadn’t paid on in years, no job, I had to move back home with my mother, and my car had just gone its last mile. I sat in my room and cried for a good two hours. At which point, I wiped the tears, tossed the tissues, and came up with an idea.

I developed extra income from different sources a few months after I took to blogging. I decided that the best thing I could do for people is to show them how much I’ve screwed up and where it got me. I hoped (and still do) that people would read my story and use that information to spur their reflection into their finances.

Some articles are examples to others of how poor choices can affect you for years. They are for young adults as they are learning about finances and debt. It can be shown to teens as they approach moving out and living on their own. Other articles are for the adult who hasn’t thought too much about their finances. These pieces can help others understand how debt can destroy you.

And it’s for me. Writing these pieces helps me make sense of my choices. The articles found on this blog help me purge my situation’s emotions and allow me to move on. Pushing on and tackling this massive debt!

I hope you’ll read my blog and stick around to watch me overcome this situation I’ve put myself in. Maybe, along the way, you’ll learn something and reflect on your financial situation.

I encourage you to read about the lessons I’ve learned along the way as I’ve begun to pay off my debt.

Hopefully, the articles help you!
